BIC® FLEX4™ "BIC 4 GOOD" SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WHO ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

1. THREE WAYS TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. ET on April 15, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on June 24, 2010 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Go to www.bic4good.com during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the online instructions for completing an entry. The "BIC 4 GOOD" program asks you to enter by either, submitting (1) a video, (2) a photo, or (3) a virtual photo of your head being shaved. You will receive one entry into the random drawing for the chance to win the Grand Prize. For each entry, BIC will make a donation, up to a total of $60,000, to Do Something.org in the following amounts:

• Video submission of your shaved head: $444 donation
• Photo submission of your shaved head: $44 donation
• Virtual head shave photo: $4 donation

Limit one entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period, no matter how entered.

Video and photo submissions may also be used by BIC on the BIC Shaver You Tube Brand Channel (www.youtube.com/bicshavers) BIC 4 Good FaceBook Fan Page and www.BIC4Good.com.

2. SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is: BIC USA Inc., One BIC Way, Suite 1, Shelton, Connecticut 06484. The Administrator is Source Marketing LLC.

3. PRIZES: GRAND PRIZE (1): One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a $4,000 check. (Check will be made payable to Grand Prize Winner.)

4. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRIES: By participating, entrants release Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, the judging organization, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents ("Released Parties"), from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes including all liability, loss, damage or bodily injury resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes, and the possession, acceptance, use or misuse of prizes. Entrants who do not comply with Official Rules or who attempt to interfere with the Sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified. Sponsor and its subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates and/or agencies are NOT responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible entries or mail, mutilated, destroyed, damaged, delayed, falsified, incomprehensible, misdirected, undelivered, garbled, stolen, or postage due entries; computer errors; failures in servers or other connections or communications; or other errors of any kind nor for any injury or damage to an entrant's or other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes. All entry information will be held and used in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy (www.BIC4Good.com/privacy). In addition, all video submissions via YouTube will be subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy). In the event of a dispute concerning who submitted an entry, the entry will be declared to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

Entrants agree to grant to BIC USA Inc. ("Sponsor") without limitation, a license to all submissions for use in any and all media whether now known or hereafter devised, including, without limitation, the unconditional right to exhibit, broadcast, copy, reproduce, encode, compress, encrypt, incorporate data into, edit, rebroadcast, transmit, record, publicly perform, create derivative works of, distribute and synchronize in time related to visual elements, and/or otherwise exploit and exercise all other rights to display the BIC 4 GOOD submissions, in perpetuity, anywhere in the universe, including, but not limited to, a license to make any and all uses thereof, or for purposes of advertising or trade without any compensation to entrant. Sponsor is under no obligation to use the BIC 4 GOOD submissions for any purpose.

Entrants agree that BIC 4 GOOD submissions shall not contain, include or involve any of the following:

• Video and Photo submissions must be of your own head.
• Obscenity;
• Crude, vulgar or offensive language;
• Violence;
• Explicit sexual language;
• Illegal drug or alcohol references;
• Unauthorized trademarks and copyrighted material;
• Social security numbers, phone numbers, personal addresses or any personal, identifiable information;
• Website or web page links;
• Derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual or religious groups, humiliate other people (publicly or otherwise), any assault or threatening of others;
• Trespass or the violation of other people's rights or property;
• Illegal (e.g., discriminatory, harassing) or inappropriate activity, behavior or conduct (e.g., inflicting emotional distress);
• Conduct or activities in violation of these Official Rules;
• Any other content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
• Images of minors

All submissions will be reviewed for content eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.  Submissions containing non-compliant, prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate may be removed from the Sweepstakes website. 

Entrant agrees that Released Parties are not responsible for any unauthorized use of BIC 4 GOOD submissions by third parties. Released Parties do not guarantee the posting of any BIC 4 GOOD submissions.

Sponsor is not obligated to, use, publish, display or broadcast any of the BIC 4 GOOD submissions; provided however that you expressly acknowledge that Sponsor will rely on your agreement and compliance with these Official Rules when you submit or attempt to submit a BIC 4 GOOD submission.

Sponsor reserves the right to reject any BIC 4 GOOD submission that it deems, in its sole discretion, to violate any of the policies of BIC USA Inc.'s Terms and Conditions or the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules.

Submitting a BIC 4 GOOD submission constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant's name, city and state of residence, likeness, video, photograph, picture, voice, biographical information, and written and oral statements, (including, but not limited to, permission to edit, publish, use, adapt, exploit, modify or demonstrate the submission) for publicity, advertising and Sweepstakes purposes in promoting or publicizing the Sweepstakes, Sponsor and its products or services and all other purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the Internet and social networking sites, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, agency employees of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability with respect to/or in any way arising from participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize including liability for personal injury, damages and loss, and Sponsor's use of any submission for commercial purposes. Each entrant represents and warrants that his/her submission is original work and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any other party. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entrants shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of entrants name, likeness, picture, address (state), voice, biographical information and written and oral statements. The rights granted under this paragraph shall extend to Sponsor and their respective affiliated companies with respect to all entrants in the Sweepstakes, including the entrants who are selected as the Grand Prize Winner and those entrants who are not selected as prize winners. Sponsor is under no obligation to use the submission for any purpose. Entrants waive any right to inspect or approve uses of the submission.

5. RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing will be held on or about July 8, 2010 from all valid entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone on or about July 15, 2010. If potential winner cannot be reached or fails to respond for a period of seven (7) calendar days following first attempted notification, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be randomly selected. Potential winner will be sent an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form, and where legal, Publicity Release.  Potential winner must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form, and where legal, a Publicity Release, within seven (7) days of receipt.  Non-compliance within this time period or return of Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be randomly selected.  All federal, state and local taxes, and other charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. In compliance with United States Internal Revenue Service regulations, Sponsor or Administrator will send a Form 1099-MISC to any winner receiving a prize valued in excess of $600 (USD), which requires disclosure to Sponsor or Administrator of winner's social security number. By entering Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Source Marketing LLC, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use the winners' name, likeness and/or video, photograph and statements for advertising/trade purposes in any and all media, and all media now or hereafter known worldwide, without further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

6. ELIGIBILITY:  The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.  Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to win a prize: (a) Employees or agents of Sponsor and Source Marketing and their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, subsidiaries, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, (b) individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for the Sweepstakes; and (c) persons who are in the immediate family of any person in any of the preceding categories (including mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, spouse, grandmother, grandfather, children or grandchildren), regardless of where they live; or persons who reside in the same household, whether related or not, as any person in any of the preceding categories. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

7. SWEEPSTAKES INTEGRITY: Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, incorrect or inaccurate entry information, computer bugs or viruses; failures in servers or other connections; lost or interrupted or unavailable network, miscommunications, failed phone or hardware or software transmission failure or loss; delayed or corrupted data transmissions; garbled or jumbled transmissions or for any other error of any kind, whether computer, technical printing, typographical, human or other, relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the prize, the processing of entries or in any Sweepstakes related materials, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive visit information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof.  If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof.   The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. Any entries found or suspected to be submitted in this manner will be deemed 'void' by the judges.
